Responsibilities
- Manage, maintain, and upgrade Windows Server, Linux, and virtualization environments (VMware/Hyper-V).
- Implement and maintain cloud infrastructure, primarily on AWS and Azure, ensuring seamless integration.
- Design and execute disaster recovery plans and backup strategies to ensure business continuity.
- Monitor system performance, troubleshoot complex network issues, and resolve hardware/software conflicts.
- Enforce IT security policies and conduct regular vulnerability assessments to protect corporate data.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deploy new applications and software updates efficiently.
- Mentor junior administrators and provide technical guidance on best practices.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent professional experience).
- 5+ years of experience as a System Administrator or in a similar IT infrastructure role.
- Strong proficiency in managing Active Directory, Group Policy, and Windows 10/11 environments.
- Experience with scripting languages such as PowerShell or Python for automation.
- Valid certifications such as CompTIA Security+, AWS Solutions Architect, or CCNA are highly preferred.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
