Responsibilities
- Design, deploy, and manage on-premise and cloud-based infrastructure (AWS/Azure).
- Ensure 99.99% system uptime and implement robust backup and disaster recovery strategies.
- Configure and maintain firewalls, VPNs, and network security protocols to protect against cyber threats.
- Collaborate with development teams to optimize application performance and troubleshoot legacy systems.
- Conduct regular system audits, patch management, and security vulnerability assessments.
- Provide Tier 3 technical support and mentor junior administrators.
- Document technical processes and create runbooks for operational efficiency.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a System Administrator or in a similar IT role.
- Strong proficiency in Windows Server, Linux (RHEL/CentOS), and Active Directory.
- Certifications such as CompTIA Security+, AWS Certified SysOps Administrator, or VCP.
- Experience with cloud platforms, containerization (Docker/Kubernetes), and scripting (PowerShell, Python, or Bash).
- Deep understanding of network protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, HTTP/HTTPS).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
