Responsibilities
- Server & Network Management: Oversee the daily administration, patching, and optimization of Windows Server and Linux environments to ensure maximum uptime and performance.
- Cloud Integration: Manage and troubleshoot cloud-based infrastructure, including Microsoft Azure or AWS, ensuring seamless integration with on-premise systems.
- Security Implementation: Enforce robust security protocols, manage firewalls, and conduct vulnerability assessments to protect sensitive company data.
- IT Support & Troubleshooting: Provide high-level technical support to end-users, resolving complex hardware and software issues efficiently.
- Backup & Disaster Recovery: Design, implement, and regularly test backup strategies to ensure business continuity in the event of data loss.
- Documentation: Maintain up-to-date technical documentation, including network diagrams, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and configuration logs.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of 4-6 years of professional experience in System Administration.
- Certifications: CompTIA Security+, Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate, or similar IT certifications are highly desirable.
- Technical Skills: Strong proficiency in Active Directory, PowerShell, and scripting languages.
- Network Knowledge: Solid understanding of TCP/IP, subnetting, routing, and network troubleshooting.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact with non-technical staff.
