Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain Windows Server, Linux, and cloud infrastructure (AWS/Azure)
- Implement cybersecurity best practices and monitor system security
- Automate deployment processes using Ansible/Terraform
- Diagnose and resolve complex system outages within SLA timelines
- Optimize system performance through capacity planning and tuning
- Document IT infrastructure and maintain compliance frameworks
- Lead cross-functional projects for system upgrades and migrations
- Provide 24/7 on-call rotation support (1 week/month)
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years administering Windows Server and Linux environments
- Expertise in virtualization (VMware/Hyper-V) and container technologies
- Strong scripting skills (PowerShell, Bash, Python)
- Certifications (CompTIA Server+, AWS/Azure Certified)
- Experience with monitoring tools (Nagios, Zabbix, Datadog)
- Proven track record in disaster recovery planning
- Excellent troubleshooting and communication abilities
