Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain on-premise servers and cloud environments (AWS/Azure).
- Implement and enforce security protocols, firewalls, and access controls.
- Monitor system performance, troubleshoot complex issues, and perform routine maintenance.
- Configure and manage Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and file services.
- Automate routine tasks and infrastructure deployments using scripting (PowerShell, Bash, Python).
- Collaborate with IT teams to plan and execute infrastructure upgrades and migrations.
- Create and maintain comprehensive technical documentation and runbooks.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience as a System Administrator or Network Engineer.
- Strong knowledge of Windows Server and Linux operating systems.
- Experience with virtualization technologies (VMware, Hyper-V, or KVM).
- Proficiency in scripting and automation tools (PowerShell, Ansible, or Terraform).
- Familiarity with disaster recovery, backup solutions, and high availability.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- CompTIA Security+ or AWS Certified SysOps Administrator preferred.
