Responsibilities
- Infrastructure Management: Oversee the daily operations, maintenance, and troubleshooting of Linux and Windows server environments.
- Cloud Solutions: Manage and optimize cloud resources on AWS and Azure to ensure seamless integration and cost-efficiency.
- Security Compliance: Implement and monitor security protocols, patch management, and access controls to safeguard organizational data.
- System Automation: Develop and deploy scripts using Bash and Python to automate routine tasks and improve system performance.
- Technical Support: Serve as the primary point of contact for escalated IT issues and provide mentorship to junior staff.
Qualifications
- Experience: 5+ years of professional experience as a System Administrator or in a similar IT role.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent work experience.
- Certifications: CompTIA Security+, AWS Certified Solutions Architect, or Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate preferred.
- Skills: Proficiency in Active Directory, PowerShell, and virtualization technologies (VMware/Hyper-V).
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to translate technical jargon for non-technical stakeholders.
