Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain robust on-premise and hybrid cloud-based infrastructure.
- Oversee the daily operations of servers, networks, and workstations to ensure 99.9% uptime and optimal performance.
- Perform system administration for both Linux (RHEL, CentOS) and Windows Server environments, including patching and updates.
- Implement and monitor advanced security protocols and firewalls to safeguard sensitive data against threats.
- Automate routine administrative tasks using scripting languages (Python, Bash) to increase operational efficiency.
- Lead troubleshooting efforts for complex network issues and hardware failures, ensuring rapid resolution.
- Collaborate with development teams to deploy applications and ensure seamless CI/CD pipeline integration.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in System Administration or Network Engineering.
- Strong proficiency in Linux administration and Windows Server management.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) and virtualization technologies (VMware, Hyper-V).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively under pressure in an urgent environment.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., RHCE, CCNA, CompTIA Linux+) are highly preferred.
- Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
