Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain on-premise servers (Windows Server and Linux) as well as cloud infrastructure (AWS/Azure).
- Design, implement, and troubleshoot network systems, including firewalls, VPNs, and switches.
- Implement and monitor security measures to protect organizational data against cyber threats.
- Automate routine tasks and scripts using Python or Bash to improve system efficiency.
- Perform regular system backups, disaster recovery testing, and hardware upgrades.
- Collaborate with development teams to ensure seamless deployment of applications.
- Provide Tier 3 technical support and mentor junior system administrators.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience as a System Administrator or in a similar IT role.
- Strong proficiency in Linux (RHEL/CentOS) and Windows Server administration.
- Experience with cloud platforms, preferably AWS or Azure.
- Knowledge of network protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP) and security best practices.
- Familiarity with scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
- Certifications such as CompTIA Security+, RHCSA, or AWS Certified SysAdmin are a plus.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
