Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain enterprise-level server infrastructure including Windows/Linux environments
- Oversee cloud platforms (AWS/Azure) and hybrid cloud configurations
- Manage Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and network security protocols
- Monitor system performance using tools like Nagios/Zabbix and optimize resource utilization
- Develop disaster recovery plans and conduct regular backup testing
- Document system configurations and create technical SOPs
- Collaborate with DevOps teams on CI/CD pipeline integration
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years of hands-on system administration experience
- Expert proficiency in Windows Server 2019/2022 and Linux (RHEL/CentOS)
- AWS/Azure certification (e.g., AWS SysOps, AZ-104) strongly preferred
- Deep understanding of networking principles (TCP/IP, VLANs, VPNs)
- Experience with scripting (PowerShell, Python/Bash)
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills with root cause analysis methodology
- ITIL Foundation certification or equivalent IT service management knowledge
