Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain Windows Server and Linux enterprise environments
- Manage cloud infrastructure including AWS/Azure services and hybrid cloud deployments
- Oversee network security protocols, firewalls, and intrusion detection systems
- Automate system administration tasks using PowerShell, Bash, and Ansible
- Monitor system performance and optimize resource utilization across 500+ endpoints
- Develop disaster recovery plans and conduct quarterly DR testing
- Lead cross-functional IT projects including system migrations and upgrades
Qualifications
- 5+ years of enterprise system administration experience with Windows Server 2019+ and RHEL/CentOS
- Expertise in virtualization (VMware ESXi/Hyper-V) and container orchestration (Docker/Kubernetes)
- CCNA/CompTIA Security+ or equivalent network security certification
- Strong scripting skills (Python, PowerShell, Bash) for automation
- Experience with monitoring tools like Nagios, Zabbix, or Datadog
- Knowledge of compliance frameworks (SOX, HIPAA, GDPR)
- Excellent troubleshooting skills with root cause analysis methodology
