Responsibilities
- Manage and optimize Windows/Linux server environments supporting federal government operations
- Implement and maintain robust security protocols including firewalls, encryption, and access controls
- Oversee cloud infrastructure deployments on AWS and Azure with emphasis on compliance standards
- Provide Tier 3 support for complex network issues and system outages
- Automate administrative tasks using PowerShell, Ansible, and Terraform
- Document system configurations and maintain compliance with NIST and FISMA requirements
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field with 5+ years of system administration experience
- Expert proficiency in Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and VPN technologies
- Strong scripting skills (PowerShell/Bash) and experience with configuration management tools
- Valid CompTIA Security+ or CISSP certification required
- Previous experience with federal government IT infrastructure and compliance standards
- Ability to obtain and maintain a government security clearance (pre-screening required)
