Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain robust server infrastructure including Windows Server, Linux, and cloud environments
- Monitor system performance, troubleshoot critical issues, and implement proactive solutions
- Manage virtualization platforms (VMware/Hyper-V) and container technologies (Docker/Kubernetes)
- Ensure security compliance through regular audits, patch management, and access controls
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support business continuity and disaster recovery
- Automate routine tasks using scripting (PowerShell/Python) and configuration management tools
- Document system configurations, processes, and technical procedures
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years of experience in system administration with enterprise environments
- Expertise in Windows Server administration, Active Directory, and Group Policy
- Strong knowledge of Linux/Unix systems and shell scripting
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure) and IaaS/PaaS solutions
- Certifications (CompTIA Server+, MCSA, Linux+, or equivalent) preferred
- Excellent problem-solving skills with ability to work under pressure
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
