Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain Windows/Linux servers, cloud environments (AWS/Azure), and virtualization platforms
- Implement and monitor security protocols, patch management, and disaster recovery plans
- Diagnose and resolve system outages with minimal downtime
- Automate administrative tasks using scripting tools (PowerShell, Python)
- Collaborate with network engineers to ensure seamless system integration
- Document IT infrastructure and create technical SOPs
- Provide Tier-3 support for complex system issues
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in Windows/Linux system administration
- Expertise in cloud platforms (AWS/Azure) and virtualization (VMware/Hyper-V)
- Certifications: CompTIA Server+, Microsoft Azure, or AWS Solutions Architect
- Strong scripting skills (PowerShell, Python, or Bash)
- Experience with monitoring tools (Nagios, SolarWinds, Datadog)
- Knowledge of Active Directory, DNS, and DHCP
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
