Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain Windows/Linux server environments across on-premise and AWS/Azure platforms
- Monitor system performance using tools like Nagios and Splunk, proactively resolving bottlenecks
- Manage Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and VPN infrastructure for 500+ endpoints
- Lead disaster recovery planning and execute quarterly failover drills
- Automate deployment processes using Ansible and PowerShell scripts
- Collaborate with DevOps teams on CI/CD pipeline optimization
- Document all procedures and maintain configuration management in Git
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience (5+ years)
- Expert-level certifications: CompTIA Server+, AWS SysOps, or Azure Administrator
- Proficiency in virtualization (VMware ESXi/Hyper-V) and container orchestration (Docker/Kubernetes)
- Advanced scripting capabilities (Python, PowerShell, Bash)
- Experience with enterprise backup solutions (Veeam, Rubrik)
- Strong knowledge of network protocols and security frameworks (NIST, CIS)
- Excellent troubleshooting skills with 24/7 on-call rotation
