Responsibilities
- Deploy, configure, and manage Linux/Windows servers and cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure)
- Implement and maintain security protocols including firewalls, encryption, and access controls
- Monitor system performance using tools like Nagios and Splunk to ensure 99.9% uptime
- Automate deployment processes using Ansible, Terraform, and CI/CD pipelines
- Manage Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and enterprise-level backup solutions
- Collaborate with development teams to optimize system scalability and performance
- Document system configurations and create disaster recovery plans
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in system administration with enterprise-level infrastructure
- Expert proficiency in Linux (RHEL/Ubuntu) and Windows Server environments
- Strong knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS/Azure) and containerization (Docker/Kubernetes)
- Certifications in CompTIA Linux+, AWS SysOps, or Microsoft Azure preferred
- Experience with scripting (Python, Bash) and automation tools
- Deep understanding of network protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, VPN)
- Strong problem-solving skills with ability to troubleshoot complex issues
- Excellent communication skills for cross-functional collaboration
