Responsibilities
- Manage and optimize Linux/Windows server environments in AWS and Azure cloud platforms
- Implement robust cybersecurity protocols including firewall management and intrusion detection
- Oversee network infrastructure including VLANs, VPNs, and Cisco/Juniper devices
- Develop automation solutions using Python/PowerShell for routine system maintenance
- Lead disaster recovery planning and execute system backups with 99.9% SLA compliance
- Provide Tier-3 support and mentor junior team members on best practices
- Collaborate with DevOps teams for CI/CD pipeline integration
Qualifications
- 5+ years in enterprise system administration with hybrid cloud experience
- Expertise in Active Directory, LDAP, and enterprise identity management
- Strong scripting skills (Python/PowerShell/Bash) for automation
- Certifications: CompTIA Server+, AWS Certified SysOps Admin, or equivalent
- Deep knowledge of VMware vSphere and container orchestration (Docker/K8s)
- Experience with monitoring tools like Nagios, Datadog, or SolarWinds
- Excellent problem-solving abilities with documented incident response protocols
- Strong communication skills for cross-functional collaboration
