Responsibilities
- Design, deploy, and optimize complex network infrastructure including firewalls, routers, and switches
- Manage Windows Server and Linux environments with emphasis on Active Directory and LDAP
- Implement and maintain cloud solutions (AWS/Azure) with a focus on security and scalability
- Develop automation scripts (Python/PowerShell) to streamline system administration tasks
- Monitor system performance using tools like Nagios, Zabbix, or SolarWinds
- Lead disaster recovery planning and execute regular security audits
- Mentor junior administrators and document all IT procedures
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience (5+ years)
- Expertise in Windows Server 2019/2022 and Red Hat/CentOS Linux
- Strong knowledge of networking protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN)
- Certifications: CompTIA Security+, AWS Certified SysOps Administrator, or equivalent
- Experience with virtualization (VMware vSphere/Hyper-V) and containerization (Docker/Kubernetes)
- Proficiency in scripting languages (Python, PowerShell, Bash)
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure
