Responsibilities
- Deploy and manage Windows/Linux servers, Active Directory, and VMware ESXi environments
- Implement cybersecurity protocols including firewalls, IDS/IPS, and endpoint protection
- Optimize cloud infrastructure (AWS/Azure) and automate deployment with Ansible/Terraform
- Monitor system performance using Nagios/Zabbix and resolve incidents within SLA
- Coordinate disaster recovery drills and document IT procedures
- Lead hardware refresh projects and vendor negotiations
- Mentor junior sysadmins on best practices
Qualifications
- 5+ years in enterprise system administration with Windows/Linux experience
- Active Security+ or CISSP certification required
- Expertise in virtualization (VMware/Hyper-V) and cloud platforms
- Proficient in scripting (PowerShell/Python) and automation tools
- Strong understanding of network fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, VLANs)
- Experience with ITIL frameworks and service management
- Ability to lift 50lbs for hardware maintenance
- Bachelor's degree in IT or related field preferred
