Responsibilities
- Deploy, configure, and maintain Linux/Windows servers and virtualized environments
- Implement robust cybersecurity protocols and conduct vulnerability assessments
- Manage cloud infrastructure across AWS/Azure with Terraform/Ansible
- Monitor system performance using Nagios/Zabbix and resolve incidents proactively
- Collaborate with DevOps teams on CI/CD pipeline optimization
- Create disaster recovery plans and execute system backup procedures
- Document SOPs and train junior staff on system administration best practices
Qualifications
- 5+ years of enterprise-level system administration experience
- Expert proficiency in Linux (RHEL/Ubuntu) and Windows Server administration
- AWS/Azure certification (Solutions Architect or equivalent)
- Strong scripting skills (Python/Bash/PowerShell)
- Hands-on experience with containerization (Docker/Kubernetes)
- CCNA/CompTIA Security+ certification preferred
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- Proven track record of reducing system downtime by 40%+
