Are you a results-driven Systems Administrator looking to make an impact in the Pacific Northwest? Nordic Cloud Solutions is hiring a Senior Systems Administrator to lead our infrastructure operations in Seattle, WA.
We are looking for a technical expert who can manage complex environments, ensure 99.9% uptime, and drive automation initiatives that streamline our business processes.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the deployment, maintenance, and troubleshooting of Windows and Linux servers.
- Manage and optimize cloud infrastructure (AWS/Azure) and on-premise data centers.
- Implement robust security measures, firewalls, and intrusion detection systems.
- Automate repetitive tasks using Bash, Python, and PowerShell scripting.
- Collaborate with development teams to ensure seamless CI/CD pipeline integration.
- Monitor system performance and capacity to prevent downtime.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5+ years of experience in Systems Administration.
- Strong proficiency in Linux (RHEL/CentOS) and Windows Server environments.
- Deep understanding of network protocols, TCP/IP, and DNS.
- Experience with virtualization technologies (VMware, Hyper-V).
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in a high-pressure environment.
