Responsibilities
- Design, deploy, and manage Linux/Windows server infrastructure in AWS/Azure environments
- Implement and maintain security protocols including firewalls, VPNs, and identity management systems
- Automate system provisioning and configuration using Ansible/Terraform
- Monitor system performance, troubleshoot complex issues, and implement optimization strategies
- Develop disaster recovery plans and conduct regular testing
- Collaborate with DevOps teams to streamline CI/CD pipelines
- Document infrastructure configurations and create SOPs
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
- 5+ years administering Linux/Windows enterprise environments
- Expertise in cloud platforms (AWS/Azure) with certification preference
- Strong scripting skills (Python/Bash/PowerShell)
- Experience with virtualization (VMware/KVM) and containerization (Docker/Kubernetes)
- Security certifications (CISSP/Security+) highly desirable
- Excellent troubleshooting and communication skills
