Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain Windows/Linux servers, virtualization (VMware), and cloud platforms (AWS/Azure)
- Implement cybersecurity protocols and conduct vulnerability assessments
- Oversee network infrastructure including routers, switches, and firewalls
- Automate system tasks using PowerShell, Python, and Ansible
- Provide Tier-3 support and document IT procedures
- Coordinate disaster recovery testing and business continuity planning
- Collaborate with development teams on DevOps initiatives
Qualifications
- 5+ years in system administration with enterprise-level experience
- Expertise in Active Directory, DNS, and DHCP management
- Strong knowledge of virtualization technologies (VMware vSphere)
- Certifications (CompTIA Server+, AWS SysOps, or equivalent)
- Proficiency in scripting languages (PowerShell/Python)
- Experience with monitoring tools (Nagios, Zabbix)
- Understanding of compliance frameworks (SOX, HIPAA)
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
