Responsibilities
- Monitor security alerts and respond to incidents in real-time using SIEM tools like Splunk and QRadar.
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify and remediate system weaknesses.
- Implement and maintain advanced security controls, including firewalls, IDS/IPS, and endpoint protection.
- Develop, test, and update incident response plans to ensure business continuity.
- Perform regular security audits and compliance checks (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001, SOC 2).
- Collaborate with IT and development teams to secure cloud infrastructure and applications.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Information Systems, or a related field.
- Certification preferred: CISSP, CEH, Security+, or CISM.
- 3+ years of progressive experience in cybersecurity, network security, or information security.
- Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, networking protocols, and operating systems (Windows/Linux).
- Experience with SIEM platforms and threat intelligence feeds.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to communicate complex security concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
