Responsibilities
- Monitor, analyze, and respond to security alerts and incidents in real-time using SIEM tools.
- Conduct daily vulnerability scans and security assessments to identify potential weaknesses.
- Implement and maintain security controls, including firewalls, antivirus software, and intrusion detection systems.
- Perform user access reviews and manage identity and access management (IAM) policies.
- Investigate security breaches and develop incident response plans to mitigate risks.
- Collaborate with IT teams to ensure secure configuration of servers, networks, and applications.
- Stay current with the latest cybersecurity trends, threats, and mitigation strategies.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in cybersecurity or a related field.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related technical field (or equivalent experience).
- Relevant certifications such as CompTIA Security+, CISSP, CEH, or GSEC are highly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of network protocols, operating systems, and security concepts.
- Experience with SIEM platforms (e.g., Splunk, QRadar) and log analysis.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.
