In this role, you will act as the first line of defense, monitoring network traffic, identifying potential threats, and responding to security incidents with speed and precision.

Responsibilities
- Monitor security alerts and events (SIEM) to detect and respond to intrusions in real-time.
- Conduct daily vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify system weaknesses.
- Perform log analysis and threat hunting to uncover hidden threats within the network.
- Assist in the implementation and maintenance of firewalls, antivirus software, and endpoint protection.
- Document security incidents and create detailed incident reports for management review.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards such as HIPAA, PCI-DSS, and ISO 27001.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- 2-5 years of professional experience in cybersecurity or information security.
- Knowledge of network protocols, operating systems (Linux/Windows), and cloud infrastructure.
- Certification preferred: CISSP, Security+, CEH, or GSEC.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to work under pressure.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
