Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and optimize Linux/Windows server infrastructure in AWS and on-premise environments
- Manage enterprise-level virtualization (VMware/KVM) and container orchestration (Kubernetes)
- Proactively monitor system health using Nagios/Splunk and resolve incidents within SLAs
- Automate deployment pipelines with Ansible/Terraform and CI/CD tools
- Implement robust security protocols including firewalls, IDS/IPS, and compliance frameworks
- Document infrastructure architecture and create disaster recovery procedures
Qualifications
- 5+ years in system administration with 3+ years in cloud environments (AWS/Azure/GCP)
- Expert-level knowledge of Linux (RHEL/Ubuntu) and Windows Server administration
- Certifications (CompTIA Server+, AWS SysOps, or equivalent) required
- Strong scripting proficiency (Python/PowerShell/Bash)
- Experience with infrastructure-as-code tools (Terraform, CloudFormation)
- BS in Computer Science or related field
