Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and optimize Windows/Linux server environments across AWS/Azure
- Manage Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and network infrastructure
- Automate deployment and monitoring using Ansible, Terraform, and PowerShell
- Lead disaster recovery planning and security compliance initiatives
- Troubleshoot complex system issues and performance bottlenecks
- Document procedures and provide technical guidance to junior staff
Qualifications
- 5+ years in enterprise system administration with cloud experience
- Expertise in Windows Server 2019+ and Ubuntu/CentOS
- Proficient in scripting (Python, PowerShell, Bash)
- Strong knowledge of networking (TCP/IP, VLANs, VPNs)
- Experience with virtualization (VMware, Hyper-V) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)
- ITIL Foundation certification preferred
- Austin-based candidates preferred
