Key Responsibilities
- Monitor, analyze, and respond to security alerts and incidents in real-time to mitigate threats.
- Conduct regular vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify weaknesses in our systems.
- Manage and maintain firewalls, intrusion detection systems (IDS), and endpoint protection platforms.
- Enforce security policies and ensure compliance with NIST, HIPAA, and ISO standards.
- Lead post-incident investigations, root cause analysis, and prepare detailed forensic reports.
- Collaborate with IT and development teams to integrate security best practices into the software development lifecycle (DevSecOps).
Qualifications
- Minimum of 4-6 years of experience in cybersecurity, incident response, or SOC operations.
- Certifications such as CISSP, CEH, or GCIH are highly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of network protocols, operating systems (Windows/Linux), and cloud security (AWS/Azure).
- Proficiency in using SIEM tools (e.g., Splunk, LogRhythm) and threat intelligence platforms.
- Excellent analytical thinking and problem-solving skills under pressure.
- Effective communication skills to convey complex technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
