Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain enterprise-level Linux/Windows server environments
- Lead cloud migration projects across AWS/Azure with a focus on scalability and cost optimization
- Develop and implement robust backup/recovery solutions and disaster recovery protocols
- Proactively monitor system performance using tools like Nagios, Zabbix, or Datadog
- Automate infrastructure provisioning and management using Ansible, Terraform, or PowerShell
- Enforce cybersecurity best practices including patch management and vulnerability scanning
- Document system architecture and create runbooks for operational procedures
- Mentor junior administrators and conduct technical training sessions
Qualifications
- 5+ years of hands-on experience in enterprise system administration
- Expertise in Linux (RHEL/CentOS) and Windows Server environments
- Strong knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS/Azure) and container orchestration (Kubernetes)
- Certifications in CompTIA Server+, Linux+, or Microsoft Azure preferred
- Proficiency in scripting languages (Python, Bash, PowerShell)
- Experience with infrastructure-as-code tools (Terraform, Ansible)
- Deep understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, VLANs, VPNs)
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure during critical incidents
