Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain secure network infrastructure (AWS, Azure, VMware)
- Proactively monitor system performance and resolve critical incidents within SLAs
- Automate administrative tasks using Python, PowerShell, and Ansible
- Manage Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and firewall configurations
- Lead disaster recovery planning and execute system backups
- Collaborate with DevOps teams on CI/CD pipeline optimization
- Document infrastructure changes and maintain system documentation
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in Windows/Linux system administration
- Expert knowledge of networking protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, VPNs)
- Certifications (CompTIA Server+, AWS SysOps, or equivalent)
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure) and virtualization
- Strong scripting skills (Python/PowerShell/Bash)
- Security best practices implementation (hardening, patching)
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
