Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain enterprise-level Windows/Linux server environments
- Manage AWS/Azure cloud infrastructure including EC2, S3, and Active Directory
- Develop automation scripts using PowerShell/Python to streamline operations
- Monitor system performance using Nagios/SolarWinds and resolve incidents
- Ensure compliance with SOC 2 and HIPAA security protocols
- Lead disaster recovery planning and periodic testing
- Collaborate with DevOps teams on CI/CD pipeline optimization
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
- 5+ years in system administration with hybrid cloud expertise
- Advanced certifications (AWS/Azure, CompTIA Server+, MCSE)
- Proficiency in networking (TCP/IP, DNS, VPNs) and security best practices
- Experience with virtualization (VMware ESXi, Hyper-V)
- Strong scripting skills for automation workflows
- Excellent problem-solving and communication abilities
