Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain Windows/Linux server environments and cloud infrastructure
- Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and optimize network configurations
- Manage Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and VPN services
- Execute security protocols, patch management, and disaster recovery procedures
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on IT projects and system upgrades
- Document processes and create SOPs for operational excellence
- Provide Tier 3 support and mentor junior IT staff
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years of hands-on system administration experience
- Expertise in Windows Server (2016/2019) and Linux (RHEL/Ubuntu)
- Strong knowledge of virtualization (VMware/Hyper-V) and cloud platforms (AWS/Azure)
- Certifications (CompTIA Server+, MCSA, or Linux+) preferred
- Experience with scripting (PowerShell/Bash) and automation tools
- Proven problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure
