Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and optimize Windows/Linux server environments supporting 500+ endpoints
- Manage hybrid cloud infrastructure (AWS/Azure) and ensure 99.9% uptime SLAs
- Lead security initiatives including vulnerability assessments and compliance audits
- Develop automation solutions using PowerShell/Ansible for routine operations
- Coordinate disaster recovery testing and business continuity planning
- Mentor junior administrators and document technical procedures
- Collaborate with network engineers on firewall and VPN configurations
Qualifications
- 5+ years of enterprise-level system administration experience
- Expert-level certifications: MCSE, Linux+, or AWS Certified Solutions Architect
- Proficiency in virtualization (VMware/Hyper-V) and container technologies (Docker/Kubernetes)
- Strong scripting skills (PowerShell, Python, or Bash)
- Experience with monitoring tools (Nagios, SolarWinds, Zabbix)
- Knowledge of Active Directory, DNS, and DHCP enterprise implementations
- Proven incident management and root cause analysis capabilities
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs for hardware maintenance tasks
