Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain Windows/Linux server environments across hybrid cloud infrastructure
- Monitor system performance, troubleshoot network issues, and ensure 99.9% uptime
- Manage Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and VPN configurations for 500+ endpoints
- Implement cybersecurity protocols including firewalls, IDS/IPS, and endpoint protection
- Document IT processes and create disaster recovery plans with quarterly testing
- Collaborate with DevOps teams on CI/CD pipeline automation using Ansible/Terraform
- Provide Tier 3 support and mentor junior administrators
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years administering Windows Server 2019+ and Linux (RHEL/Ubuntu)
- Expertise in Azure/AWS cloud services and hybrid networking
- CompTIA Security+ or CISSP certification required
- Strong scripting skills (PowerShell, Python, Bash)
- Experience with VMware vSphere and SAN/NAS storage systems
- Proven incident management and change control procedures
- Excellent communication skills for cross-functional collaboration
