Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain secure network infrastructure including firewalls, VPNs, and cloud services
- Manage and optimize Windows Server and Linux environments for maximum performance
- Lead disaster recovery planning and execute system backups/restorations
- Automate routine tasks using PowerShell, Python, or Ansible
- Monitor system health with Nagios/SolarWinds and proactively resolve issues
- Collaborate with DevOps teams on CI/CD pipeline integration
- Document system configurations and maintain compliance with ISO 27001 standards
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years administering Windows Server and Linux environments
- Expertise in Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and TCP/IP networking
- Hands-on experience with AWS/Azure and virtualization technologies (VMware/Hyper-V)
- Strong scripting skills (PowerShell, Python, or Bash)
- ITIL certification or equivalent process management experience
- Proven ability to troubleshoot complex system issues under pressure
