Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain complex Linux/Windows Server environments across on-premises and AWS/Azure platforms
- Lead security hardening initiatives, vulnerability assessments, and compliance audits (SOC2, HIPAA)
- Automate deployment and monitoring using Ansible, Terraform, and ELK stack
- Manage Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and enterprise-level storage solutions (NetApp, Pure Storage)
- Provide Tier-3 support for critical incidents and coordinate disaster recovery drills
- Optimize system performance through capacity planning and resource utilization analysis
- Mentor junior administrators and document SOPs for operational excellence
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in enterprise system administration with emphasis on hybrid cloud environments
- Expert proficiency in Linux (RHEL/Ubuntu) and Windows Server (2016/2019)
- Strong scripting skills (Python/Bash) and automation experience
- CCNA/CompTIA Security+ or equivalent certifications required
- Hands-on experience with container orchestration (Kubernetes, Docker)
- Proven track record in managing enterprise-scale infrastructure (500+ devices)
- Excellent troubleshooting skills with network protocols (TCP/IP, VPN, Load Balancers)
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field preferred
