Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain Linux/Windows server environments across on-premises and AWS cloud platforms
- Proactively monitor system performance using tools like Nagios and Zabbix to ensure 99.99% uptime
- Automate deployment and configuration management using Ansible and Terraform
- Lead disaster recovery planning and execute security compliance audits (SOC2, ISO 27001)
- Collaborate with DevOps teams on CI/CD pipeline optimization and container orchestration (Docker/Kubernetes)
- Document infrastructure changes and create runbooks for complex systems
- Provide Tier-3 support resolution for critical production incidents
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in enterprise system administration with proven expertise in Linux (RHEL/CentOS) and Windows Server
- Advanced certification (CompTIA Linux+, MCSE, or AWS Solutions Architect)
- Proficiency in scripting (Python, Bash, PowerShell) for automation
- Deep knowledge of networking principles (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN)
- Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS preferred) and infrastructure-as-code tools
- Strong analytical skills for troubleshooting complex multi-tiered systems
- Excellent communication abilities for stakeholder collaboration and documentation
