Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable Linux/Windows server environments using AWS and Azure
- Manage container orchestration via Kubernetes and Docker for microservices deployment
- Oversee enterprise security protocols including firewalls, IDS/IPS, and zero-trust architecture
- Automate infrastructure provisioning with Terraform and Ansible pipelines
- Monitor system performance using Grafana and ELK stack
- Lead disaster recovery planning and business continuity testing
- Collaborate with DevOps teams on CI/CD pipeline optimization
- Document infrastructure and create runbooks for operational excellence
Qualifications
- 5+ years administering enterprise-grade systems (Linux/Windows)
- Expertise in cloud platforms (AWS/Azure) with certification (e.g., AWS SysOps)
- Strong scripting skills (Python/Bash) and infrastructure-as-code experience
- Proven track record with Kubernetes and container orchestration
- Security certifications (CISSP, Security+) or equivalent experience
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- Experience with monitoring tools (Prometheus, Nagios, Datadog)
- Excellent troubleshooting skills for complex hybrid environments
