What You Will Do
- Monitor & Detect: Analyze security alerts and events across the enterprise network using SIEM tools (Splunk, QRadar) to identify and neutralize threats in real-time.
- Incident Response: Lead the investigation and remediation of security breaches, ensuring rapid recovery and minimizing downtime.
- Vulnerability Management: Conduct regular vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to proactively identify and patch security gaps.
- Compliance: Ensure strict adherence to regulatory frameworks such as SOC 2, HIPAA, and GDPR, managing documentation and audits.
- Threat Intelligence: Research emerging threats and develop actionable intelligence reports to strengthen our defense posture.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field.
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in cybersecurity, incident response, or security operations.
- Certifications: CISSP, CEH, or Security+ is highly preferred.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Python or Bash scripting for automation and incident response.
- Tools: Strong working knowledge of SIEM, IDS/IPS, Firewalls (Check Point, Palo Alto), and endpoint protection (CrowdStrike).
