Responsibilities
- Deploy, configure, and manage Linux/Windows server environments and virtualization platforms (VMware, Hyper-V)
- Implement and maintain robust network security protocols including firewalls, VPNs, and intrusion detection systems
- Monitor system performance, troubleshoot complex issues, and automate routine tasks using scripting (Python, PowerShell)
- Oversee cloud infrastructure (AWS/Azure) including S3, EC2, and Active Directory services
- Coordinate disaster recovery testing and ensure 99.9% system uptime SLA compliance
- Document IT procedures and provide Tier-3 support to internal teams
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in enterprise system administration with Windows Server and Linux environments
- Expert knowledge of Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and network protocols (TCP/IP, VLANs)
- Certification in CompTIA Server+, MCSE, or Linux+ (or equivalent experience)
- Proficiency in scripting languages (Python, PowerShell, Bash) for automation
- Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure) and containerization (Docker/Kubernetes)
- Strong problem-solving skills with ability to diagnose complex technical issues
- Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams
