Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain scalable Linux/Windows server infrastructure across AWS and on-premises environments
- Lead system hardening, patch management, and compliance initiatives for SOC 2 and HIPAA frameworks
- Automate workflows using Ansible, Terraform, and Python to enhance operational efficiency
- Monitor system performance with Zabbix and Grafana, proactively resolving bottlenecks
- Collaborate with DevOps teams on CI/CD pipeline optimization and container orchestration
- Document infrastructure architecture and create runbooks for disaster recovery scenarios
- Provide Tier-3 support during critical incidents and lead post-mortem analysis
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience managing enterprise-level Linux/Windows Server environments
- Expert proficiency in AWS services (EC2, S3, VPC, CloudFormation) and hybrid networking
- Strong scripting skills (Python/Bash) and infrastructure-as-code tools (Terraform/Ansible)
- Deep knowledge of Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and enterprise firewalls (Palo Alto/Fortinet)
- Certifications required: AWS Certified Solutions Architect or CompTIA Server+
- Experience with monitoring stacks (Zabbix, Prometheus, Grafana)
- Proven track record in high-availability system design and incident response
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent technical experience
