Responsibilities
- Monitor security alerts and analyze network traffic using SIEM tools (Splunk/Symantec)
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing on client systems
- Document security incidents and generate comprehensive incident reports
- Collaborate with IT teams to implement security controls and best practices
- Stay current on emerging threats and industry compliance standards (HIPAA/NIST)
- Assist in developing security awareness training materials
- Perform forensic analysis during security breaches
Qualifications
- 3+ years of cybersecurity experience with active CompTIA Security+ or CISSP certification
- Proficiency in SIEM platforms, firewalls (Palo Alto/Check Point), and endpoint security tools
- Strong understanding of network protocols, encryption standards, and threat intelligence
- Experience with vulnerability scanning tools (Nessus/OpenVAS)
- Excellent analytical skills and ability to prioritize critical security alerts
- Valid driver's license for occasional on-site client visits
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Relevant degree in Computer Science or Cybersecurity preferred
