Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and manage AWS/Azure/GCP infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform and CloudFormation
- Optimize cloud environments for performance, security, and cost efficiency while maintaining 99.99% uptime
- Automate deployment pipelines using CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, or GitHub Actions)
- Monitor and troubleshoot cloud systems using observability platforms (Datadog, Prometheus, or Grafana)
- Develop and maintain cloud security frameworks including IAM policies and network security groups
- Lead migration projects from on-premises to cloud environments with zero downtime
- Mentor junior engineers and contribute to technical documentation and best practices
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years of hands-on experience with major cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP) and associated services
- Proficiency in scripting languages (Python, Bash, or PowerShell) and automation frameworks
- Strong understanding of networking principles (TCP/IP, DNS, load balancing, VPNs)
- Experience with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes) and orchestration
- Certifications (AWS Solutions Architect, Azure Engineer, or GCP Cloud Engineer) preferred
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in fast-paced environments
- Strong communication skills for stakeholder collaboration
