Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain Windows/Linux server environments (Active Directory, VMware, AWS)
- Implement and monitor cybersecurity protocols (firewalls, IDS/IPS, patch management)
- Oversee cloud infrastructure deployment and optimization
- Provide Tier 3 support for critical systems and resolve complex technical issues
- Automate administrative tasks using PowerShell, Python, or Ansible
- Document system configurations and disaster recovery procedures
- Collaborate with DevOps teams for CI/CD pipeline integration
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years in system administration with enterprise environments
- Expertise in Windows Server 2019/2022 and Linux (RHEL/Ubuntu)
- Certifications (CompTIA Security+, AWS SysOps, or equivalent)
- Hands-on experience with virtualization (VMware vSphere) and cloud platforms
- Strong scripting skills (PowerShell/Python/Ansible)
- Proven ability to troubleshoot complex network issues
- Knowledge of compliance frameworks (SOC2, HIPAA)
