Responsibilities
- Design, deploy, and maintain Windows/Linux server environments and virtual infrastructure (VMware/Proxmox)
- Implement robust cybersecurity frameworks including firewalls, IDS/IPS, and endpoint protection
- Oversee cloud infrastructure (AWS/Azure) and hybrid environment orchestration
- Perform disaster recovery testing and business continuity planning
- Automate system monitoring using tools like Nagios, Zabbix, or SolarWinds
- Collaborate with DevOps teams on CI/CD pipeline optimization
- Document system configurations and create SOPs for operational excellence
Qualifications
- 5+ years of enterprise system administration experience
- Expert proficiency in Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and network protocols
- Certifications in CompTIA Security+, AWS SysOps, or Microsoft Azure required
- Hands-on experience with containerization (Docker/Kubernetes) and scripting (Python/PowerShell)
- Strong knowledge of backup solutions (Veeam, Commvault) and recovery procedures
- Ability to troubleshoot complex multi-tiered systems under pressure
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent technical certification
