Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain enterprise-level Windows/Linux server environments
- Manage virtualization platforms (VMware vSphere) and cloud infrastructure (AWS)
- Oversee backup/recovery systems and disaster recovery protocols
- Monitor network performance using tools like Nagios and SolarWinds
- Collaborate with DevOps teams on CI/CD pipeline optimization
- Document system configurations and create technical SOPs
- Lead security audits and implement compliance frameworks (ISO 27001)
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in enterprise system administration
- Expertise in Windows Server 2019+ and Red Hat Enterprise Linux
- VMware vSphere certification (VCP) required
- Strong scripting skills (PowerShell, Python, Bash)
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS preferred)
- Knowledge of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP)
- ITIL Foundation certification preferred
- Ability to work on-call rotation (1 week/month)
