Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain Windows/Linux servers, virtualization environments (VMware), and cloud platforms (AWS/Azure)
- Implement robust security protocols and ensure compliance with industry standards
- Monitor system performance, troubleshoot complex issues, and implement preventive measures
- Automate deployment processes using Ansible/Terraform and CI/CD pipelines
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable IT solutions
- Document system configurations and create operational procedures
- Provide 24/7 on-call support for critical infrastructure incidents
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years of experience in system administration with enterprise environments
- Expertise in Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and enterprise networking
- Strong scripting skills (PowerShell, Python, Bash)
- Certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Linux+, MCSE) preferred
- Experience with monitoring tools (Nagios, Zabbix) and backup solutions
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure
