Responsibilities
- Manage and optimize on-premise data centers including VMware vSphere, Cisco UCS, and NetApp storage
- Implement and maintain AWS cloud infrastructure (EC2, S3, Lambda) with Terraform infrastructure-as-code
- Lead 24/7 incident response for critical systems with PagerDuty integration
- Design disaster recovery solutions with RPO < 15 minutes and RTO < 2 hours
- Automate workflows using Ansible, PowerShell, and Python scripting
- Coordinate security audits and compliance frameworks (SOC2, HIPAA)
- Mentor junior administrators and document operational procedures
Qualifications
- 5+ years of enterprise system administration experience
- Expertise in Linux (RHEL/Ubuntu) and Windows Server environments
- Advanced cloud certifications (AWS Certified Solutions Architect preferred)
- Proficiency in networking (TCP/IP, DNS, VPN, firewalls)
- Experience with monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana, Nagios)
- Strong scripting skills (Bash, PowerShell, Python)
- CI/CD pipeline implementation (Jenkins, GitLab CI)
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
