Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain Linux/Windows server infrastructure in AWS and on-premises environments
- Automate deployment workflows using Ansible and Terraform for CI/CD efficiency
- Monitor system performance with Nagios and Splunk, resolving incidents within SLAs
- Lead disaster recovery planning and execute quarterly failover tests
- Manage Active Directory, DNS, and DHCP services across 500+ endpoints
- Collaborate with security teams to harden systems against emerging threats
- Document SOPs and knowledge base articles for operational consistency
Qualifications
- Bachelor's in Computer Science or equivalent experience (5+ years in system administration)
- Expert-level certifications: AWS SysOps or Azure Administrator
- Proficiency in Python/Shell scripting for automation tasks
- Hands-on experience with VMware ESXi and Hyper-V virtualization
- Deep understanding of TCP/IP networking and firewalls (Palo Alto/ASA)
- Proven incident management experience with Jira/ServiceNow
- Strong analytical skills for capacity planning and optimization
