Responsibilities
- Manage and optimize Windows Server and Linux environments across on-premise and AWS cloud infrastructure
- Implement and maintain robust cybersecurity protocols including firewalls, VPNs, and access controls
- Automate system monitoring, backups, and disaster recovery procedures using Ansible and Terraform
- Diagnose and resolve complex network, hardware, and software issues with SLA-driven efficiency
- Coordinate vendor relationships for hardware procurement and enterprise software licensing
- Document system architecture, SOPs, and runbooks for compliance and knowledge transfer
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field + 5+ years in system administration
- Expert proficiency in Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and enterprise networking (TCP/IP, VLANs)
- Hands-on experience with AWS services (EC2, S3, Lambda) and hybrid cloud architectures
- Strong scripting skills (Python, PowerShell, Bash) for automation and tool development
- Certifications in CompTIA Server+, AWS SysOps, or Microsoft Azure preferred
- Proven track record in high-availability environments with 99.9%+ uptime
